To compose ‘An Anthem With Purpose’ for Bosch 125th Anniversary in the UK and create an emotional sonic journey and connection between Bosch and its key internal & external audiences. The key words to inspire the track’s composition revolved around energy, unity, creativity, future-facing innovation, positivity, community, voices, and sustainability.

Creative idea

The anthem of the collective, thousands of individuals across countries brought together by the same aspirations, inspired by the same passion for innovation and progress, united to build a positive future together.
Bosch’s UK Anthem illustrates this feeling of belonging, the pride of being part of a company with a rich history. Voices coming together to celebrate the success, the journey so far, and the decades to come.

As composers Ilā and Bishi pointed out during their recording sessions, Bosch technological entrepreneurship inspired their work for the anthem, as their mission intertwined, creativity being the connecting link at the heart of engineering and the heart of technology.
They focused on this notion of progress and collaboration between people, then turning the spark of creativity into an anthem mixing textures, AI sounds and piano.

The anthem ‘Ignite the Lights’ was performed by Bishi and Ila, at the Bosch UK 125th Anniversary Gala in June 2023 at London Guildhall, supported by a choir of 20 singers from London Contemporary Voices choir.

’Ignite the Lights’ is an anthem that brings Bosch's audiences together.

The performance was such a success with the international audience that it will soon be remixed for many brand activations and campaigns.
